I have a 97 camaro rs with a 2 piece driveshaft. I was wondering if i could get a one piece shaft. between which years would work? And from a z28? Basically, if i call a yard, and they ask for year/model, what do i tell them? Also,i have a 5 speed, would i there be a difference between manual and auto ds?

Re: Driveshaft
He is wondering which years and model F bodies have aluminum drive shafts that will fit his 98 v6. I would also like to know which F bodies have aluminum drive shafts that are a direct swap for a 94 Firebird with an A4 Tranny. Are they the same? Do special modifications need to be made?

Re: Driveshaft
i got my aluminum ds for 80 shipped, it was off a trans am, if its for an f-body from the years previously stated it is a direct bolt on, go on ls1tech.com they have a TON of aluminum ds on there and 95% of them are around like 100-140 shipped but i was a lucky 1 that searched every day for 2 months
