I heard that an easy upgrade is buying an aluminum driveshaft? Could it be installed easily(never took out a driveshaft, so is it bolt on?). Where can I buy one and are there different types for each year? Thanks in advance

    Re: Aluminum Driveshaft

Your best bet is to try and find one from a J-Yard or on ebay. You can probably buy one for $75-$130. Don't pay too much more.

Any stock Camaro, Firebird, & Trans Am Aluminum Driveshaft from 1982 up to 2002 will fit.

Once you buy it, go here for the install guide. They are very easy to install.

4 10mm bolts and it slides right out. slide the new one in and bolt it back up and your done.
