gear/differential install guide?

i totally know ive read one before. but in my retardedness i cant seem to find it.

i just bought some 3.42s with an auburn lsd and well, a guide is needed!

and how erm necessary is an install kit? excuse my ignorance.

i have a 95 with open 3.23s. so theyre both 3 series...if that matters. the ring gear is already attached to the the lsd.
