People are upgrading to aluminum driveshafts all over. Can I ask why you need one? Cause if you just need a new one you should look into LS1 aluminums

There was one for sale on here not to long ago. I was looking at but I'm buying a condo so I can't spend the money. Look in the for sale section. Aluminum driveshaft is much better than 2 piece.

Yeah they are stronger, and better balanced, and I have had enough of these aluminum ones. I replaced the steel 1 piece in my v6 w/ aluminum, but I'm going to try a 2 piece, and if it works, I'm putting it in all 3.

I have one...

your going to need two new U joints tho.

wont cost more than $15 new.

I put it in the box i recieved my aluminum ds, so its ready to be shipped.

that sucks for me, i needed a carrier bearing for my 2 piece and with that installed and the transmission rear main seal replaced it cost $~400.... that was about a week before i got on these forums and didnt realize i could get a 1LE DS for ~$120. i found some inland empire DS's for $300 and figured with shipping and waiting, i'd rather get the 2 piece fixed... my loss, camarov6 wouldve saved me $250!!! which woulda gone for more perf. parts!!!!!11one d@mmit

i'll shoot you some pictures tomorrow. I'll send you everything you need to install it, but you'll still need to replace the u-joint or just two.

I've got one in my car still. Right now, it needs nothing (not saying I won't mess it up on removal). I'm hoping to take it out later today to put my alum one in. $50 is fine wit me, just let me know. I'll send you everything you need (hanger and all).
