  • Drivetrain Help... ?

Well, under acceleration, my car makes a grinding/shaking sound. Its not a constant sound, it changes like something is struggling. It comes from the rear of the car. it started out only happening every couple times i got in. Now its everytime i drive it. It still accelerates just as slow as before. and in neutral revs fine. so i know it is the drivetrain. I figured i would ask you guys before taking it to the shop.

I have a 97 Camaro with 200k and have had the same noise for quite some time. I have replaced 2 driveshafts in that time and the noise did not go away. it was the carrier bearing. the rubber surronding it was worn out and caused the bearing to go bad. so the driveshaft was out of balance causing the shaking.
