2000 Firebird, Hurst Billet Plus, Lou's Short Stick (all installed more than 2 years ago with no problems).
Car started jamming going into 5th. Sometimes a few tries and some force works, sometimes it just won't go. Moves sideways easy, jams going up immediately. Reverse is generally OK, but I've had some problems there too. Doesn't do it dead cold, starts after I've driven a few miles.
not familiar w/the t5 trannies, but on the t10's, usually when it starts jamming like that the synchros are going. forcing it aint gonna do it any favors, & w/reverse also acting up, a rebuild is order

well reverse isnt synchronized so that cant be the problem there ( im assumeing you go into some other gear before going into reverse correct?)
as for not going into 5th, synchro's could do it, but so could a bad slave, but because its just 5th and not the rest of the gears, id lean more toward syncho problems. does pumping the clutch 8-10 times at start up/when the problem starts help the problem?
