for those of u who seen the sister of this tread in chassis you'll know the deal...but for the rest...i'm taking a zz350/350 that was put in an 85 c20 and puting it in my 94 camaro...what i want to know is...the bell housing obviously won't fit but can it be changed and can the inners of a t-5 be bullet proofed so that i can run this car up in the 500hp range.

You can get a bellhousing that will mate up. You can have your trans built up to handle it but it wil cost you the more power you put into it. There's a few vendors out there just can't think of any right now.

no...i mean get the part and build the trans my self...i don't have any thing sent out unless its a computer thing or some thing that requires a big machine

Oh yeah there are plenty of companies that will sell you the parts I'm sure. I guess with a manual it wouldn't be so bad. I would never attempt it with my auto.

since you's be running basically an LT1 stlye block(lt1 is still based on the regular SBC)... you mise well go with the t-56 and swap everything over..

nah...i like the feel of the t-5...the t-56 just don't feel...muscly enough for me

Enclose the transmission in some kind of 2 inch thick glass.
