4.10 gears with lsd

if i got 4.10 gears would it be a total waste if i didnt put a lsd on with them? or will it be fine with the open diff

personally, yes i think it would be a waste.

If you have the differntial busted open in the first place it is a really good upgrade.

will 4.10s actually hurt your quarter miles time? because it kills the topend so much? or does it help because of the acceleration?

i can get some pics. they are already boxed up though. they will help your quarter mile time. they maybe have a couple thousand miles on them max. they look pretty much brand new. yeah they were in a z28 with whatever lsd it had. $75 shipped?

they are for a 2 series but if you are buying an lsd just buy a 2 series lsd and they will work. I no longer have my camaro and my rwd monte carlo has 3.73's in it.

it should be up at the end of the week; i have to seperate the 3.73s from it and give it one more good inspection...I'm probably gonna let it go for 100. the difference b/t 2-series and a 3-series is the 2-series gears are alot thicker than the 3-series gears.

Why are you removing it from the 3.73's?
