  • nasty squeaking clutch pedal! help

It's strange, sometimes it will and sometimes it won't happen, but mostly when it's cold out or when the car has been sitting for a couple days, whenever I push in the clutch it makes a god awful squeak, which you can hear inside and outside of the car, also the clutch is VERY firm. I know my car is a V6 but still the clutch should NOT feel this hard.

Personally I think it's either; a) the clutch pedal is too tight or b) some sort of spring is rusted or something...honestly I have no clue.

I hope someone has this sort of problem...because I have no idea where to start.

My camaro did the same thing when it was cold outside and I was driving for the first 5-10 minutes. I flushed the whole clutch / hydraulic system and it went away. Maybe there were air bubbles in the system somewhere or just old fluid, but it hasn't made that sound for a few years now.
