skip shift eliminator?????

so i got a1994 3.4 camaro. i recently noticed the bulb waspulled out on my dash for the skip shift light! my question is shouldi still buy the eliminator? what are the prosand cons? why would someone havepulled the bulb out? some one please let me know!

im pretty sure only the 8 cyl f-bodies came with the skip-shift... but i could be wrong

either way, ive never heard of any person who actually wanted to INSTALL the skip shift eliminator

the eliminator kit lets you shift normal-but the skip goes 1 to 4. just curious

only tohe t56 trans has skip shift . none of the5 speeds do . they just decided to make all the clusters the same to cut costs .
The eleminator is used to trick the computer to thinking the solinoid is still connected even when its not . When it connected it thow a bar over the 2 , 3 linkage preventing it from locking in

v6s do not have skip shift...

autos do not have skip shift.

so v6 autos, do not have skip shift...
