I have a 99 v6 3.23 open car and I have a 96 Z28 series 2 lsd rear end sitting waiting for a 4.10 gear. I believe that both are 3 channel ABS because I see one sensor on top of both rear ends. I have a 4.10 series two gear and was wondering if there is going to be any differences in the style of the reluctor ring and will if effect my abs? Also, does the 99 brakes bolt up to a 96 rear end in the same way?
the reluctor ring will swap over fine. As for the brakes, you'd probably want to swap your brakes onto the '96 rear axle...just remove all the drum-brake crap and your calipers should swap right over onto the '96 rear
