I've been searching high and low for info on the T5s as to the differences between the Mustang T5s, 3rd gen V8 t5s and our T5s... I was curious as to whether or not I could put a 3rd gen T5 into my car, since my 2nd and 3rd are long gone. Or perhaps if I could adapt a Mustang T5 to fit... I'd like to try to save some money since I don't think I'm going to need G-force's rated 500 ft pounds capacity, since I'm staying N/A at this point, due to lack of funds... Anyone know?

That's the tremec (bought BW) page for the T5. Some of the of the models they give can handle 300 lbs-ft and have pretty good ratios. I suppose there's a way you could swap out internals?
