Hurst billet plus shifter problems/questions

I just bought and installed a hurst billet plus shifter and I really like it a lot. Except for now, like 5 days after getting it in there it seems just really loose, I tightened everything down when I installed it and double checked everything. The stick can move forward and back atleast an inch if not two, is that normal or not? It doesnt have any side to side movement just forward and back when its in gear and now theres weird clicking noises when changing gears. The bolts are not on it that are the advanced things. It also kind of feels like its not shifting smooth anymore between gears like its catching on something, just started happening today. I am going to take it apart to look at it tonight just does anyone have any insight on this?

check the two bolts that hold the handle to the shifter . mine came loose and i tought i had that problem to.
