I just bought a 96 camaro, The trannys being dancing in and out of OD at freeway speeds 50 to 75 MPH. Someone told me the TCC valve goes bad alot. The other day I heard a rattling from under the car like a loose heat shield or something. turns out the clinking and clanking is coming from the torque converter housing. Does this sound like a bad converter? Would a bad TCC valve cause this? Do I have to replace the whole Tranny? Any help would be appreciated.
