What do you know about this used tranny? What kind of warrenty will you get?

Flip it upside down and remove the pan so that you can Replace the filter. And while your in there, check the valve body for installation of the Sonnex TCC valve (it might already be done).

I don't know if there are any adjustments that you can make to the bands. Hopefully someone can comment on that.

Put new gasket in place and install the pan.

Replace the tailshaft seal (the rear seal for the driveshaft) and the seal in the FWD pump housing (for the Torque converter).

Its a tranny out of a 97. 77,000 miles on it. 3 month warranty on it. So there is a pump seal behind the converter? You just pull the converter out? Heres some pics.[IMG][/IMG]

Pull the torque converter out of there and you should be able to pry the old seal out and install the new seal without removal of the pump cover.

Before you re-install the torque converter, make sure it is drained completely, then fill it up with new trans fluid (to prime it).

When you install the torque converter it is absolutely critical that you make sure it slides in all the way. You will have to rotate it back and forth and wiggle it around to get the splines of the shafts properly engaged in the torque converter, which will then allow it to slide the converter into the proper position.
