are you trying to swap the fluid or get the air bubbles out?

if bubbles, just put the nozzel, then a tube, then the catch can thing, then another tube to the pump.

put the nozzel into the little hole at the bottom of the resouvoir, then pump it up to like 20psi on the vaccum guage, leave it and pump the clutch some.

If you do much more vacuum you will pull air in through the master cylinder.

The best way to do it with the vac is with 2 people.

1 person pumps up the clutch and then keeps it depressed.
The other person then pumps up a suction and cracks open the bleeder. They keep pumping until the psi goes down to 5-10. They close the valve, the other person slowly lets off the clutch pedal.

        Repeat.

Using the mityvac is a real PIA.

Funny I thought it was a life saver...

i have also used it to swap the fluid(I cook it alot) Just crank the bleeder, open the resovoir, then just suck it all out under the car through the bleeder. Filled it. then sucked it all out again. then filled it, closed the bleeder, then did the stuff method I mentioned earlier.

I also like to get like 10-15 psi, then just leave it at that and walk away and it will slowly pull some bubbles up.

i have had near no problems with bleeding it with a mightyvac.
