Not sure what this could be..I've searched. But its driving me nuts.
When crusing 5-25 mph I can hear a squeaking/whine noise from the rear passenger side of the rearend. The noise disappears when I stop. But when the wheels start turning again its back. Any idea?
Hahaha...
The rear brakes are drum, and I've never checked them out. I've noticed that sometimes the Parking brake feels funny. Like it engages too easy when I pull it up. Could that have something to do with it?

Did you hit anything lately? If so, you may have bent the axle.
Check for the obvious first. Brakes, e-brake adjustment, re-tighen all of the backing plate bolts, replace the drum hardware, ect. Leave the axle replacement as a last resort.
i got the same thing comin from my passenger rear end , i know my brakes need to be done but one of my buddies thought it might be a wheel barring too. not sure yet
could also be a hub mount. Re-torque your lugs, see if that does anything.

Okay, well its only when the car is moving. And I can only hear it at speeds like 20 mph and lower. It almost sounds likes it could be a bent axle. But I do know that I have a leak on my differential. I see fluid on the place where the shaft goes in.
And it is a stock open rear end...with drum brakes.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
