Decent price?

I was talking to my friend and this summer I will be picking up an LSD rear end from a 98 firebird formula with about 40k on it. The rear end currently has 3.42's. I am thinking about throwing some 3.73's in there. My friend has done gears on his truck and mustang which is in the 11's. He said for 100 bucks and a case of beer he would help me install the LSD and the gears, the right way. I trust him because his mustang and truck both lock up perfect with NO NOISE from the differential. Is 100 (120, with beer) a decent price for a LSD and gear swap?? What do most shops quote?

thats a really good deal, price quote for installing my posi was over 250 bucks just to put the damn thing in

Like I said, he's got a mean GT that's gone through 3 transmissions. His rearend has NO noise and operates perfectly, I would trust this guy installing anything on my car.
