Well, this might be a stupid question, but do the 3.8L T-5's have a pilot bearing or bushing in them? When I replaced my clutch for the first time I noticed that there didn't seem to be one in there, and my bearing and clutch books at work dont list a part number for a clutch pilot at all on the 3.8l f-bodies.

That is the part number for an '02 3800, but I dunno why a '96 would be different.

just dont get the one that has the rollers in them, they fail all the time and screws everything up
