I just picked up a 2000 camaro with 31,000 miles on it, Im not sure how long the car sat or how it was driven. do u guys think that I should change the fluid?

if you care enough, just dropping the pan will not get out all of the fluid. :)

if ur gunna go ahead and get a tranny flush there would be no point into not changing the filter. If i had a nice car like u with 30k on it i would keep that baby in good health.

Umm, no. Go to pontiac dealer, buy the fluid+filter (+gasket, if needed) and head over to a local aamco/cottman (any other good local) transmission shop. Just pay the labor to change it. I had mine done like 30K miles ago from "Uncle Joes" lube shop and they used the crappy cheap trans oil. I am gonna change mine soon with gm oem fluid and aamco service. BTW, hey BLLDOGG, what you think about running synthetic in our 4l60e? Any other performance recommendation for fluid?
