Re: driveshaft
You defintely don't need to put in a 1 piece to lower your car. However, a 1 piece will give you a bit more acceleration. :)1998 M5 3.8 Mystic Teal Camaro<br />Flowmaster exhaust, Pacesetter headers, 3\" cat, 3\" S-pipe, whisper lid, ram air, Spec Stage 1 clutch, Poly Trans mount, Walbro 255LPH. Re: driveshaft
It will fit. 82-02 driveshafts will fit in our cars, however, the yoke may be different, depending on the model of the car. I think the formula should have the right yoke. If you don't get it, try and find an aluminum one (98+ SS Camaros), instead of the standard steel (All 98+ F-Bodies, and 82-97 V8 versions). It'll be about10lbs lighter, and still strong enough. Atleast, this is what I've come to understand from researching when I bought mine.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

[QUOTE=Where are you getting your information from? All LS1-equipped F-bodies have an alum. DS, not just Camaro SS's...Not sure about the 3rd gen's, but in the 4th gen., V6's were the only 98+'s to get a steel driveshaft[/QUOTE]
there is a 93-97 firebird formula in the junkyard down the road, if the 3rd formula don't work

Re: driveshaft
I'd go with the alum ds. You might as well spend the little bit of extra cash, for in the long run, you're gonna want to upgrade it anywaysCar expresses who you are.
