Re: inquiry About Gears
I would actually recommend gettin an entire rear end out of a 99+ M6 V8 car without traction control (unless you somehow have TC on the V6). That combo will give you 3.42 gears and a torsen diff. What year car do you have though and do you have drums or disk for the rear brakes? There will be a bit more involved if you have drums but not too much. Anyway it's a lot cheaper to swap the whole rear end than to put in new gears and you get the added benefit of upgrading to a limited slip differential.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

Re: inquiry About Gears
If you don't know what kind of brakes you have this might not be a good time to upgrade the car. Get to know your car and learn how to do small things first. Re: inquiry About Gears
I'm sorry I thought you meant you didn't know the difference. In that case do a search on how to swap in a rear disc setup into your car. As for the rear the whole thing can be had for around 275-350 usually.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

Re: inquiry About Gears
search locally at the junk yars first so you can save on shipping but if you can't find one TA Creations (I think that's their name) has them almost all the time.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard
