  • 6 speed manual on 3800?

My goal on my 3800 Firebird is 300rwhp. Ive been told that the stock 5 speed will need to be upgraded to handle said power...is this true? If so, would it be a good idea to go for an aftermarket 6 speed that can handle this power? Or should I stick with the 5.

There is none, unless you want to figure out a way to fab up a T-56 to fit your engine. No one has done it so far and plan on spending $$$ for that.

i think the stock one is maxed out at 300hp so you would be pushing it
