  • clutch pedal

    my clutch pedal is staying stuck while my car is on can some one tell me what this means?? do i need a new clutch??:poke:

    Is there pressure when you first push down? I would check to make sure there is fluid in the resovoir

      sounds like if there is fluid then your master cylinder went.

        stuck to the floor? try bleeding it a few times.

        if that doesnt help you might need a new master cylinder ( or slave, probally master )

          yes stuck to the floor i have to pull it out sometimes
          sorry to sound :twak: but where is it located (the fluid)
          there pressure but sometimes the pedal will stay in about 2-3 inches be 4 the end

            resovoir is by the brake booster under the hood. drivers side, by the firewall, its clear-ish in color.

            try pumping the clutch about 100 times, literally 100. when you leg gets tired start using the other one.

            if that doesnt help, bleed the clutch about 10 times and see.

            if that doesnt help, you probally need a new master cylinder.

              its not the one with the red line righ
              is it the smaller one with the blue line?

                yeah, blue line. they both say brake fluid cause you use brake fluid for the clutch as well as the brakes.
