    Ok...I dont know a heck of a lot about these things and how there made, but there is an aluminum driveshaft for sale on ebay where a guy is custom making them for our cars. The guy says that they are 3300rpm spin balanced. He also said when I asked about it that this is all they gurantee. Is this ok to buy? or is it going to act unbalanced when im above 3300 rpm? or does that matter?

    i wouldnt bother with it, unless it is dirt cheap (50 bucks or less) you can get a most likely better quality driveshaft off an ls1 car.

    how much is he asking for the shaft?

    Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

      209$ lol...yea i know its expensive. But I want an aluminum driveshaft soon...I'm leaking gear fluid out of the gasket where the shaft goes into the diff and the old 2 piece has to come out in order to fix that, so i wanna kill 2 birds with one stone... I gotta find a good one quick times and ebays not helpin much...

        there is bound to be someone selling one, and if your lucky you can get one for around 100bucks

            whats the year of driveshaft that will fit our car just 93-02 or is it 82-02?

              93-02 but the alum are 98-02 V8 models the v6 are 1pc steel

                  Haha thanks, yea I saw those. Im on ebay everyday lookin for em...my biggest problem is I find one for a decent price like 100-125 but they wont flippin ship to canada:rant: lol

                    post in the parts wanted section on ls1tech, i got like 7-10 hits on my post within a couple days, the one i ended up buying was shipped out today, paid $120 shipped for it and it has under 12,000 miles.

                        If you have a 98 camaro with a V8 then yes. If you have a 98 camaro with a V6 then no

                          I hear its a really good mod to do to your car, plus if you ever feel like swaping to the v8, you dont need to upgrade this at that time
