dman how do i test it to see if its still god and also dose it has a fuse somewhere??

raise the front end of your car. unplug the connector on your tranny. take your voltmeter touch on lead to the orange wire and the other to a good ground. With the vehicle in neutral and key on, measure the voltage while rotating one wheel with the other one blocked. If the voltage doesn't vary then the sensor is defective.

yeah, i realized that last night. i was looking at the wire schematics at the back of the haynes manual and saw the purple and yellow. But that is the procedure they give. Purple is VSS Return and yellow is VSS In and both go to the PCM. So i don't know which one.
