Ok I went to have 3.42 gears installed for my turbo this morning and he said that the gears I had were 3.23s not 3.42s! I bought the 3.42s off Ebay under this link:
I'm pretty sure your mechanic told you right. That is if he wasn’t tying to sell you new ones. Sound like an eBay rip to me. ALOT of that has been going on lately. But it means your gears should spin 3.23 or 3.42 times before your wheel rotates once. I dont know how he would know unless he has already installed them or if maybe its written some where on the wheel or pin.
