    how do i get the line seperated without using the tool mentioned in the haynes manual
    96 3.8 red camaro. <br />headers,cam,valve springs,retainers,auburn lsd,3.73 gears,SLP cold air,accel coils,24lb injectors,8mm plug wires,air temp module,LT1 diveshaft,removed a/c,edelbrock torque arm,spohn LCA\'s and PHR

    You pretty much need the tool to remove it without damaging something, Or you could fabricate some sort of metal fork thing to wrap around the gold peice and remove.

          neither auto zone or advance auto has this tool. I tried there yesterday and i called today.

            See if they have a clutch kit for your car, open the package and take the tool out, tell them youll bring it right back or something.

            My clutch kit came with one, and when i the slave cylinder it came with one as well.

            So you could buy the slave cylinder open it, take the tool and return it.

                This is what it looks like, maybe you could make one like i mentioned above, its just thin metal like 1/8" or so.

                  I just snapped the slave cylinder off. I have a new slavecylinder going in so screw it. Thanks guys

                      just use 2 flat head screw drivers, thats what i have done like 3 times

                      Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted
