LOL actually I was talking about my own 5yr old but yours has a ways to go too until he can turn a wrench. He's about what, 3?
Right now it's hard for me to keep him interested long enough to complete a job, even something like changing the oil. He keeps wanting to run off and play ball or ride his bike.
I have a 2 year old. He gets ticked off whenever we all go somewhere and take "Mama's Car." He's great at identifying Camaros though. Any time I'm looking a pics here and happen upon a Camaro, regardless of the color he comes running up yelling, "Dada's Car! Dada's Car!"
I must admit, car seats fit well it out backseats.

Oh! sorry. He is 3. He can turn a screwdriver and we are working on ratchets.

Understandable for a 5-yr old. Have you looked into those go cart racing series for kids. they start around 5 don't they?
I was surprised my axle swap held my son's attention for as long as it did. Every 5 mins or so he would remind me to put the wheels back on.

That's awesome! He had good taste in cars. At about 2, my son called my FB "Daddy's race car". I have no idea where it came from, but that's what we all call it now. He likes corvettes more than my car now, but I can't fault him for that.
