automatic and manual mainframes?

im pretty sure they are the same, but i just want to make sure.. are the automatic and manual harness's of the 3800 the same?

i would assume they are a tiny bit different, i mean, you cant control an automatic transmission with a manual transmission harness, its not going to have the wires necesary

They are sligtly different. My car has been swapped out for a manual, and it did not have the proper connector for the reverse light switch.

i was told that too... buuut like i was told that if you plug the harness into a computer thats flashed for m5, then you will have no problem.
thats what im having done, the stock m5 computer on the camaro is whats being used.

the auto harness isnt gonna plug into the manual tranny....if u flash a auto pcm to manual one then ya the pcm will work but still the harness wont

my car has an auto pcm/harness with a manual trans if that helps.
the part that usally connects to the transmission is just pushed to the side

i called the mechanic.. its all good.. automatic harness plugs right into the manual pcm no problem :P
