so any ways i dont understand how a new master makes so much of a diffrence in my car i dont get no more rasp or popping farts when i let go of the gas @ 4'000 rpms and when i shift from 1st-to-2nd i dont get any rasp im very happy with this but i would like to know more about how and why?

    also when i shift from 1st 2 2nd my tire spins:naughty:
this is new for my car im very happy:banana:

probably because your old master was in such bad shape when you pushed it in, your clutch wasnt fully disengaging. So now when you push the clutch pedal in your transmission is fully disengaed from your engine

        Re: new master

ehh its not too hard, you just need like a 4 foot extention and come from the tail shaft of the tranny to get the top bolts out.

Ensure that you ONLY use GM Hydraulic Clutch Fluid – DOT 3 Brake Fluid with Friction Modifiers (p/n 12345347). DO NOT use brake fluid. That is why the fluid was black.
