I found a ridiculous deal on a Z28 rear end with 3.42s and I think I'm going to get it, but my dad seems to think it would be better to put the money elsewhere to make it faster. This deal is just too good to pass up so I'll probably get it anyway, I just want to make sure I'm on the right track with this mod.
btw: I already have an exhaust, whisper lid, and a short shifter...
LSD will help your 60' out tremendously, and the 3.42s will be a nice improvement on overall acceleration. If it's a good deal, I'd definitely go for it.
Will do. I probably won't be able to get it in for a while since i currently have an immobile Jeep hogging the garage. But as soon as I do and I have a chance to drive it, I'll let you know how it is.
i put in an Auburn differential and 3.42s in my auto Firebird and it makes a hell of a difference coming from 3.08s its definitely a must mod! if you want a drivable car with good pick up in high speed turns and stuff get 3.42s!
