Is there somewhere I can find a whole rear end to purchase? 4.10 gears and lsd preferably. I've been thinking about all the stuff to add power to my car but I should totally be focusing on being able to handle it first. Yeah I'm a noob with the drivetrain :banana:

I got mine on ebay from fparts. They're an FBody salvage yard in PA. The price was good and the customer service is right up there.

yea stock v8 rears will have 3.42s or 3.23s for the most part. Only way to find ones with 4.10s would be to surf v8 sites for guys switching to 12 bolts and such

About how much should I expect to be paying?

with 4.10s, probably almost 400, with 3.42s around 300-350

Do you have a manual or auto?

I know this has been discussed but if its an auto I wouldn't go higher that 3.73 on a street driven car. Hell, my 3.42's are satisfying me for now.

I've got an auto that I'm goin all out drag with. It's not gonna be a DD but it's gotta make a 40 min drive to the track. Unless I got a hitch and trailer for my other 3.8l hahah Only if it truly truly comes to it would I consider that. But that's years off and hopefully I'd be able to afford a truck by then.

so ur gonna drive a "all out drag" 3.8 40 mins to the track to race...somethin doesnt add up
