i am looking to pick up another hurst short throw and i was wondering if the t56 shifter will bolt onto and work on our v6 t5's if they do that would open alot of doors to pick up used parts, thanxin advance for the help

No, that's why they make different shifters for the T5 and the T56... -

ok thats what i figured but there is a guy who is selling one on ebay saying it will work for both, i knew they made different ones for the different trannies ok thanx
