Short Shifter

Well, I'm thinking of maybe getting a short shifter for the Camaro while the motor and tranny's out. Has anyone heard/used this brand?>> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...159969215&rd=1

It looks like a decent one and all, just wondering what you guys thought. I may get it just to be the 1st one to have it :)

damn t-5 shifters r expesive...i paid 45 shipped for my t-56 shifter new lol

Go away......I'm waiting for a good deal still, but am starting to think it'll never come.....I tried to get a few Pro5.0s that were on here for cheap, but always missed them :(

You do get what you pay for. I had Hurst shifter, Lou short stick and Momo shift knob. When I did it, your talking about almost 300 bucks for all that.

It follows the rule, go big or go home. If you go cheap, you will be going home. Just how it works.

My suggestion is to cut the shifter and just re thread it do not buy another one you can get the same length from the stock one if you cut and re thread it.

Done that. Hate it. Short shifters aren't necessarily shorter, but shorten the throw by changing the leverage point. People then cut them down or bolt on a shorter handle for a short stick.
