alright thanks. So heres what im thinking. Put the 3.42 gears on the auburn posi and the ABS ring on it too...and put it back in my original rearend..onlything that sucks is I just put new bearings and seals on the rearend w/o the hole.
thing is you will need to set the gears right, and you will also have to swap over the pinion as well, which is tricky. If you just had to swap the diff I'd say go for it but the gears, is whats tricky.
The other option I heard but never tried was splice the wiring for the ring on your v6 car to one of the wheel sensors on one of the wheels. I "heard" that will work but never tried.
Isn't the reluctor ring on the carrier allot larger then the one on the axle? More then twice the teeth. I would think the ABS module would see this as the rear spinning much slower then the front.

Thats my thought too... but I have "heard" that it works. I don;'t know exactly how the module works, but it is definitley a completely different sensor.
