I'm leaking clutch fluid and I want to follow the line and see whats leaking so I can possibly just change that part and not the whole clutch. I fill resovoir up but it drains out within a week so then I have no pressure and cant engage clutch to shift gears. I tried to follow line out of resovoir but it goes into the firewall under the brake booster. Can someone tell me where it goes after this. Is there something I can check with out removing tranny. I'm really in no mood to remove the tranny. Thanks for any help

Re: how does clutch resovoir flow?
yes theres fluid on the ground but you have to understand its only a few ounces thats in the resovoir and once the resovoir gets low then there is no pressure to engage clutch. So a couple ounces over the course of a week is not really enough to just look and see where it leaks.Originally posted by kalaI'll have buttsecks with Richard Simmons!

Re: how does clutch resovoir flow?
Reservoir goes to the clutch master which does sit right under the brake booster. Master goes to the slave which sits inside the transmission bellhousing.Drivetrain Moderator - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!"

To say I have a few leaks under my car should cover it, looking under car is not gonna be a "O, theres the leak" type of thing. I appreciate the input.Originally posted by kalaI'll have buttsecks with Richard Simmons!
