Quick question about gears

I just picked up a 96 Camaro 5 speed with 3.23s and open rear. I'm trying to buy some 3.73s for the rear, but I'm unsure as to which set I need. And I really dont want to buy the wrong set. 2 or 3 series carrier/7.5 or 7.65 rear end...I'm confused. Do I need just the gears or the install kit too?

If your replacing 3.23 gears you need 3.73's for a 3 series carrier. 7.5 and 7.65 rears use the same gears. You will also need the install kit and someone to install them. Putting 3.73 gears in an open rear is just going to give you traction problems.
