where to buy sonnax kit?

I know this subject has been beaten to death on here, and i've searched here but all the links seem to be old or just don't work. So can anybody point me in the right direction on where to buy the tcc sonnax valve body upgrade to fix the 1870 code and TCC slipping? Thanks.

hello friends
can you please tell me which parts i have to order for the 1870 FIX?
my english is not the best (I am from Austria), and I have to repair my Valvebody (1999 Camaro V6)
Should I order the reamer (#77754-R2, Reamer. Cost $125.00) and the
valve (#77754-04K, valve for 1993 up including EC3 units. Cost $41.00)

or do I only need this #1870V. 4L60E Code 1870 Fix ?

well, you need the reamer to get the valve into the valve body, so yes, you'll need both of those.

or this one #1870V. 4L60E Code 1870 Fix?

If you are going to use the reamer, then you HAVE to use #77754-04K.
I don't think you need the reamer for #1870V.
You could also get #27X-K042, but i'd reccommend calling them first to find out exactly what they advise. PATC is a highly regarded transmission rebuild center.

Alex,

Just got off the phone with them, he said to order #1870V, you won't need the reamer or anything like that. Just the $18 valve. Replace the valve and that will rid code 1870, however it may be too late for your torque converter, depending on how long it has been slipping. If you have any other questions, just let me know!

Tcc problem fixed with 20$ ( part #1870V) and 2 hours work under my camaro.
