That's actually really true in my case. When I got the car it had 36k on it and it was 2 years old, the oil pan was changed to plastic(I've read it was cast-iron OE), and the fuel pump died within a year. The tires were 245/50R16's even though he bought it with the 235/55R16. It just strikes me a bit odd, plastic oil pan, fuel pump died quick, traded in with low miles, I think there's a story to what this guy did with the car.
The interior looked odd as well, the inside door panel where it meets with the dash had a faded bump, and there's some strange black marks in the rear interior panels. Almost as if it wasn't the original interior panels.
So I really wonder what this car's first life was like, and what is really on it.
