burnout then wheel hoping?

  • burnout then wheel hoping?

    ok so today i went up to a stop sign then held my foot on the brake and did a brake stand but then when i release it felted liek my rear end of the car was just jumping like hoping up and down and it sounded really bad ???? Is it the rear end? then i tgired againg same problem ? anybody kno

    Well the cars not meant for this but I'd say you need to replace your stock rear suspension. How many miles are on your car? Crawl under car and see if you see anything bent? Look for warn bushings. May start with new LCA and relocation brackets

        It's called wheel hop. LCAs usually clear it up.

              ok when i do a burn out it sounds like a big knocking nosie and it stops spinning the wheels i got 56k on the car

                  don't know if TCS would cause the knocking noise but i'd def. take a hard look at your rear suspension... sounds like wheel hop to me.

                    TCS there is no optiion on my car to turn it on or off is there I dont have any button for it

                      wheel hop. had same problem. Happened when i went to larger rims. LCA's should fix it. :) /end thread

                        My car is a wheel hoppin', tranny mount breakin' bee eye itch. I'm installing the LCA's and relocation brackets Wednesday. I'll tell you if they fix the problem.

                          No, you can't turn TCS off, it's built into the rear, and this more than likely isn't TCS...you just need new Lower Control Arms.
