theres a whirring noise in direct relation with car speed, so the faster im going the louder the noise. it sounds like its comming from the differential. I just checked my differential fluid that I recently changed, and its definately full. its the zexel torsen. suggestions?

Is it constant? Did it just start? Have you had gears installed recently? You could have a pinion bearing going bad or the pinion nut could be backing off. If new gears they could not be set up correctly.

Then it's either the pinion nut backing off or a bearing going bad. To check the nut, Jack the car up in the back, put jack stands under it, grab the drive shaft near the rear end yoke and see if it moves. Any movement is bad here.

Pinion bearings you need to disassemble the rear to check.
