Ive been experiencing a lot of vibration coming from the back of my 97 rs
so i had a friend throw it on the lift and we found out the bearing is shot in my stock 2 piece driveshaft. Since its broken I mind as well upgrade so I was going to pick up an aluminum one piece DS but 2 of the other mechanics up there said that I can't put a one piece directly underneath because it wont line up and i need another 2 piece otherwise it wont fit
This makes no sense to me but before i pick one up I wanted to see if this was true or if those 2 dont have a clue what they're talking about
Would a 2000 SS's aluminum DS fit? and does it matter if its an auto or manual?
If you've either done this or know for a fact that you can, I'd like to know so I can get back on the road:cool:
