yep. and why would GM put something "performance oriented" like a 1 piece DS in a 6-cylinder? from their perspective, the V6 buyer is the budget-minded buyer, and a one-piece just wouldn't fit the budget.

no, a 2-piece would cost more to manufacture/install...the reason that alot of V6's got a 2-pc was because the person likely to buy a V6 off the lot is going to want as smooth, comfortable ride as possible

I never said that the 2 piece was more expensive. What I said was that a budget minded buyer wouldnt want a "performance feel" in their v6. And because of the said "ride difference" it doesn't fit the budget for what they're looking to do.

why wouldnt you want a performance feel from a v6 camaro, plus a 1 piece DS isnt really a performance part, they are on just about every RWD car other than the v6 camaro
