Ok just got my kit today. I'm impressed with everything that it came out but the instructions suck for a laymen like myself. Now for a mechanic I'm sure they make sense just fine lol. Anyway anyone else installed this kit that could throw some tips my way.
Thanks
Frank
Kit is installed, very nice noticable diffrence in all gears. I actualy didnt even feel the first 1-2 it made I had to watch the revs for the next one. The 3-4 shift feels a little soft along with the 3-2 but all better than stock and the kit said it would firm up with time. I am assuming or hoping the check engine light will go out after the next 80 miles or whatever, somone correct me if I am wrong and have to get it cleared. Anyway overall very tedious for myself but this was the first time I did any tranny work and without help. Now to paint my rims lol
I had mine installed before I did my M5 to A4 swap along with the Vette Servo by a mechanic who worked on trannys for 30-40 years. Did you do the Corvette Servo? I think that firms up your 1st and 2nd gear shift. Also how many spacers did you use? The mechanic used 2 on mine and it def. firmed up the shifts when flooring it.

man lol more work I will let you know this week shoot me a pm with price and shipping to 85396. Last night my R headlight decided to stop working. I cannot express the frustation I have. I cant beleive how much harm lhaving your car sit for a few months will do. i had just replaced the headlight gears a few months prior.
Vette servos are cheap, under $25 and I believe it is just on the side of the pass. side , so install shouldn't be too hard.

Cool deal on the servo so if I remember correctly the vette servo is right behind piston cover on the passenger side and it sits with the top of the servo sticking up?
Also side note, on my lights cranked it up manualy reset the fuse and it all works good again go figure. Although it seems like its a bit shaky anyway to tighten up?
