Then save that for yourself and don't tell others to try it for you.

coincidently you could probably get a 4l60E tranny for your 93 car as long as you swap to a 94 or 95 pcm.

I certainly hope you have all the answers if he tries it and it doesn't work.

No thanks. You have asked far to many stupid questions and given for to much bad advice on this board for me to want any help from you.

well im going to stick to finding a 94-95 transmission, as far as the TC goes, ill probably just use the one the car i rip the tranny from comes with, otherwise how much is a new one? More than the price im paying for a used tranny im sure (i get used trannys from junkyard at around $100) thanks all!

The one that is in the trans you get should be fine to use. Just don't use the one from your failing trans.

any way to kind of check to see if the trans are good before pulling them from the junk car? ive seen a couple cars with over 140k miles (same or more than my gf car) so dont want to pull another failing trans...

With out driving them no guarantee's. Best to check the fluid and see if the trans looks painted ( if it's painted it's been rebuilt or in some cases replaced and the installer painted it.).
