3.4 to 3.8 tranny

Will the tranny on a 3.4 bolt up to the 3.8 motor?

I doubt it. I believe the tranny used with the 3.4 uses mechanical controls, while the 3.8 is completely electronic. I could be wrong though.

yes. depending on the tranny, it may/may not work as intended.

Autos will have diff electrical connectors, and I've seen diff clutch hose connections between the 3.4 & 3.8.

and the 93 auto is just a renamed 700-4R.
