Re: my rear end swap thread saga

got the axles out of my old rear. theyre in great shape, no pitting or anything. the old bearings are good too. the seals on the other hand.

it got nice and sunny out. but ive never done bearings/seals and ive never taken the paddle out of a torsen lsd. do they fall apart like an open diff?

ill probably just take it to the shop. ive got all the parts and everything theyll need so.

Re: my rear end swap thread saga

      some good news!

      i contacted fparts (contemporary corvette.)

they said all stuff comes with a 30 day warranty, and theyll replace the axle shafts.

i dropped the car off earlier. should be $65-100 for the labor. obviously more than if i did it myself, i just didnt want to do the work anymore. never installed bearings, and dont want to take the time to troubleshoot it if something went wrong. i havent driven it since the 3rd. :(
