So I installed the ES tranny mount in my car today....

and all can say is WOW

    this trans mount SUCKS.

Got it spaced correctly and everything, and the vibration is horrid...

    Looks like I'm ordering a 1LE mount!

    Re: ES Mount

you need to break it in which takes driving. It will get better but yes at first they vibrate quite a bit

      Re: ES Mount

Really? I've heard that before, but i've also heard mixed things about it, its real bad right now though. Almost feels like the driveshaft is off balance...

how much driving am I looking at to break this baby in?

          Re: ES Mount

I had a poly mount in my M5 without any problems and when I converted to a A4 no problems. I used IGORA's write up notching the crossmember and then putting bushings in, to make up for the space. Drive shaft sits at zero. I didn't use them on the other side just for the space correction.

              Re: ES Mount

i just put a poly mount on and initially it felt like i was running on 4 flat tires the vib was so bad. After 100 mile it felt better and now after 500 miles its nice. really solid and firm with a greatly reduced vibration from day one. Give it some time
