Is this a zexel-torsen ?

The guy said it has been taken off a 1995 V6 that has the traction control... Maybe the guy is wrong but I have a link with a picture :

That's neither. Thats an open diff carrier.

EDIT- It also didn't come off a car with traction control. The speed sensor on top of the pumpkin (and the tone ring behind the ring gear) means it is a 3 channel ABS system and not a traction control (4 channel) system.

Oh, and if you're curious, that's a 3-series carrier.

Thanks! That guy just don't know what he sells because he said that it was a posi differential.

I think all V6 Camaros and Firebirds come with an open differential unless an aftermarket was installed or one from the Bigger Boy (V8).

The Torsen would have worm gears running horizontally and the Auburn would have clutch discs inside

V6's with the Y87 performance package had limited slips but Y87 cars are hard to find. For the Y87 cars A4's got upgraded to 3.42 gears and the M5's kept their 3.23's.
